Diagnostic imaging is very important in our diagnosis and treatment of your pet.
We have digital radiography, which we allows us to take high resolution x-rays to evaluate a wide variety of problems from broken bones to bladder stones, heart disease and intestinal obstruction. We are fortunate to have a veterinary surgeon with a certificate in Veterinary Radiology, one of only a few in the UK.
Ultrasound helps to fill in the gaps where x-rays are not so useful. It is excellent for looking at softer organs in the body, such as the liver and heart, as well as for pregnancy diagnosis. Our sophisticated ultrasound machine allows us to perform Doppler ultrasound and therefore we are able to perform advanced heart scans. Two of our veterinary surgeons have had extensive further training in ultrasonography.
